Dan is founder and president of Gamma Tech, LLC. He is a graduate Metallurgical Engineer. He worked for five years in the steel industry holding a variety of technical and operating positions at Laclede Steel. Dan worked for fifteen years at The David J. Joseph Co. (DJJ), one of the world’s largest scrap companies and now a wholly owned subsidiary of Nucor Steel. At DJJ, Dan started and managed the company’s Mill Service Division providing on-site scrap management services to a wide variety of steel mills. During his tenure at DJJ he uncovered the technology of prompt-gamma-neutron-activation-analysis (PGNAA) and worked with Gamma-Metrics, now a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., to adapt this technology for recycled metals.

Clark is a physicist with more than 30 years of experience in the PGNAA products across the metals, cement, coal, and minerals industries. Over his career, Clark has worked in many aspects of the business, including R&D, production, customer support, and project management. He has a BS in physics from San Diego State University. His primary focus is to provide technology and service that brings value to our customers.
